Louis Buhl & Co. is proud to announce the first-ever print edition with Los Angeles-based artist Pedro Pedro. The vibrant colors and the crowded composition of Pedro Pedro’s Bowl of Fruit with Flower and Cigarette Butt is dynamic and lively. The shapes of the ripe, full fruit play with shadow and depth while they almost spill out of the bowl and escape from the flat magenta surface. The piece is a contemporary interpretation of traditional still life painting. The cigarette butt, used and discarded, is a stark contrast to the vitality the fruit portrays, a subtle and cheeky memento mori. 

This limited edition print of 30 is an 18-color hand-pulled screen print on Mohawk Superfine UltraWhite, 160 lb cover. The 22h x 30w inch print is deckled, numbered and signed by the artist.
