Louis Buhl & Co. is pleased to present a new edition by artist Cody Hudson, titled Everybody Goes Home (Landscape Shape Scape). The artist extracts elements from the natural world and reimagines them into simplified geometric shapes that work together to form a harmoniously expressive composition.
Produced in collaboration with Signal Return, a Detroit nonprofit dedicated to preserving and teaching traditional letterpress printing, this edition was created in the lead-up to Hudson’s solo exhibition at the gallery, It’s Alright Cause I Know My Own Way Back Home From Here. This project is a limited edition of 25, measuring 16 x 20 inches, with each print hand-numbered, and signed by the artist. The edition will compliment the works on view, altogether showcasing an expansive view of Hudson’s practice, and highlighting how his visual language translates fluidly across various media and techniques.
