Louis Buhl is pleased to present a new monoprint edition with Ukrainian-American artist Maya Hayuk. This unique series of monoprints features vibrant, one-of-one color combinations.
Created this past spring at XPRESS Studio in the UK, this special edition was hand-printed in collaboration with Master Printer Sam Newbury. Each of the 23 unique works is an 8-color, hand-pulled screenprint, each at 40 x 30 inches full bleed featuring Hayuk’s signature drip marks.
Hayuk personally hand-mixed every color in the series, working side-by-side with Newbury in the studio—a process that brings an intimate, hands-on quality to each piece.
