Louis Buhl & Co. is pleased to present K_Loop_C_Sm_FlourRed_Blu_FlourYl_8/22, the first-ever textile edition by artist Jason REVOK. This embroidered work translates the visual language of REVOK’s prominent “Instrument Exercise” series into thread and fabric, preserving the bold geometry and meditative repetition of his painted compositions while introducing a new dimension of tactility through embroidery. The limited edition comprises 20 pieces plus 5 artist proofs, and each piece comes ready to hang in a white frame.
Within the “Instrument Exercise” series, REVOK employs a self-engineered tool that holds multiple spray paint cans, generating rhythmic, machine-like linear compositions. These tools—both systematic and inherently flawed—reflect the artist’s ongoing exploration of control, authorship, and the tension between precision and imperfection.
