Louis Buhl & Co. is thrilled to announce a special timed edition release with artist duo DABSMYLA, featuring ESP Magic—a central painting from our current exhibition with the LA-based couple. This edition will be available exclusively for 48 hours, from 12 PM EST on Thursday, July 17th to 12 PM EST on Saturday, July 19th, 2025.

ESP Magic delves into the enigmatic realism of shared consciousness and the transformative power of nonverbal communication. The work emerged from DABSMYLA’s —partners in life and work for nearly two decades— exploration of Telepathic Raja Yoga Meditation—a practice in which the couple attempts to transmit imagery telepathically. Sitting back to back, one artist draws while concentrating intently on the image, as the other attempts to visualize it in their own mind. Some of the successfully transferred images appear in the painting, and the result is a vivid manifestation of their shared vision and profound creative bond.

Renowned for their harmonious design language, intricate narratives, and kaleidoscopic visual worlds, DABSMYLA’s work fluidly merges micro and macro perspectives. Every detail is intentionally placed within a broader narrative framework that spans painting, installation, and immersive experience—inviting viewers into a universe where the boundary between reality and imagination dissolves.
